Losing weight without the coffee
For the last couple of weeks, I haven’t been drinking as much coffee as usual on the way to my losing weight regimen. Every morning, I’d make a 20 ounce cup of coffee for my one hour drive to the gym. For the past few years, I’d drink all of it by the time I reached the parking lot.
Lately, however, I lost my taste for my favorite cup for Joe and only sip 3 or 4 times from it. This last week made me realize that it was a waste of time and money to even make it any more. So, I stopped drinking my java the last two days and by the time I was halfway to the gym this morning, I had a migrane that lasted all day. I felt like I was going to vomit. I never made it to the gym and drove straight to work while I sat in my office with the lights off ’til everyone else came in. I later drank 3 cups of tea (and I’m not a tea drinker) during the course of the day, but only made me feel a little better. Advil was my friend all day.
I’m afraid of how I will feel tomorrow. I know it’s from caffeine withdrawal and hoping it passes quick.
I plan on going to the gym tomorrow and maybe running a few miles. Let’s see how that I make out.
